Healing Farm Jigeum received an Excellence Award in the care farming program category at the 21st National Competition for Lifestyle Horticulture and Care Farming on November 25, 2025. Presented by the Administrator of the Rural Development Administration, the award recognized the delivery and achievements of the farm’s ongoing care farming programs using its natural and agricultural resources.
Healing Farm Jigeum designs its programs based on occupational therapy, with locally based occupational therapists and related specialists taking part in their delivery. Working with organizations including local municipal senior welfare centers and rehabilitation hospitals, we offer programs tailored to participants’ characteristics and needs. We observe and evaluate physical, cognitive and emotional changes before and after participation, using the findings to inform program design and delivery.
On December 5, 2025, Healing Farm Jigeum representative Sim Jae-hee also received a commendation from the Mayor of Cheongju for contributing to the promotion of urban agriculture and the development of local agriculture and rural communities.
Building on this award and commendation, we will continue our care farming practice, connecting natural and rural environments with sensory experiences, meaningful activities and relationships with local communities. Through experience and data gathered in practice, we will continually refine our programs and strengthen the foundations for care farming that can be used in local communities.
치유농장 지금이 2025년 11월 25일 제21회 생활원예·치유농업 중앙경진대회에서 치유농업 프로그램 부문 우수상을 수상했습니다. 농촌진흥청장이 수여한 상으로, 농장의 자연·농업 자원을 활용해 지속해온 치유농업 프로그램의 운영과 성과를 인정받았습니다.
치유농장 지금은 작업치료학을 기반으로 프로그램을 설계하고, 지역에서 활동하는 작업치료사와 관련 전문가들이 실제 현장에 참여하고 있습니다. 지역 시립 노인복지관과 재활병원 등과 연계해 대상자의 특성과 요구에 맞는 프로그램을 운영하며, 참여 전후의 신체·인지·정서적 변화를 관찰하고 평가한 결과를 다시 프로그램의 구성과 운영에 반영합니다.
이어 2025년 12월 5일에는 치유농장 지금 대표 심재희가 도시농업 활성화와 지역 농업·농촌 발전에 기여한 공로로 청주시장 표창을 받았습니다.
이번 수상과 표창을 바탕으로 자연과 농촌 환경을 감각 경험과 의미 있는 활동, 지역사회와의 관계로 연결하는 치유농업을 이어가겠습니다. 현장에서 축적되는 경험과 데이터를 통해 프로그램을 지속적으로 보완하고, 지역사회에서 활용할 수 있는 치유농업의 실천 기반을 넓혀가고자 합니다.
